Totally 80's

Well this past weekend was our big trip down to NYC for Emily's Bacchlorette party. One word = AWESOME!!!!!!!!

We headed out early Saturday morning. While enjoying our ride, we watched great movie DVDS:
Dirty Dancing

JEM
I thought that the drive was going to take forever, but it actually went by very fast and was a lot of fun. We even went through a weird "park" with many curvy roads. We parked the cars at a train station right outside of the city and took the train in. It was at that very moment, as I looked at the city from the distance, enjoying my public transportation, that I realized just how much I must love Dan since I am moving to the suburbs. I am such a big city girl and have always dreamed about living somewhere like NYC, Boston, Chicago, ect. But anyways, back to the 80's Prom.

We decorated the hotel room with plenty of "Last Single Night" type of things and got into out 80's gear. We had tons of blue eye shadow, crimped hair, lace, and big bows.....SO MUCH FUN!!! Our hotel was having an open bar welcome party, so we had a drink and off to the prom we went.

The 80's prom was AMAZING!!! The characters were hilarious and most importantly, Emily had a blast! Here are some pictures from the Prom:

.....oh and of course, I lost my camera. I know...lol....but not this time. I know that I ALWAYS break or lose cameras and it is a big running joke, but Dan got me this one for Christmas and it had sentimental value so I am not laughing this time :(

....and the curvy road that was so fun on the way to NYC...not so much fun after a night of drinking...lol. For more great details about the Prom, check out Emily's blog to the right (Life is But a Dream).

On a good note, Dan explained to me that NYC is only 2 1/2 hours from Albany! You know what that means......NYC is going to be my new Toronto!

The 3rd Annual Wine Tour Birthday Bash is this weekend! It is going to be a blast!!
