Countdown to closing

We still don't have our exact date for the closing yet, but since it will be by June 1st I am going to start the countdown. So, I guess that it is safe to say that we are no longer than......

2 WEEKS AWAY!!!

I had a pampered chef book party through Jen, Dan's sister. Here is some fun stuff that Dan and I got for our kitchen:

The Reversible Bamboo Cutting Board---This was Dan's pick :) Here is the "official" description...This beautifully handcrafted bamboo board is ideal for all your carving and slicing needs. The double-sided board features a deep center well on one side to securely hold meat in place. Flip it over for a traditional carving board with a generous well to catch juices. Maybe we can use it for a Thanksgiving Turkey!

The Rectangular Baker---I feel in love with the stoneware at Emily's party. I ended up getting a stoneware Bar Pan at Emily's party (which I still haven't taken out of the box. I have been waiting till we move). So when I saw this, I thought...perfect!!! Lasagna, casseroles.....

here I come!!
The Pizza Cutter---Dan and I enjoy making pizzas together. This stems back to when we first started dating. We made our first pizza together in the December 2007 at Cliff and Megan's apartment.

The Since I am Dan's "assistant" in the kitchen, the following will help me :)

Slice-N-Serve---Although I would love to be in Rochester for every holiday, we all know that would not be fair to Dan. So for those holidays when I stay in Halfmoon (or if my family comes to me), I have this fabulous slice-n-server to go with holiday breakfast...creche.

We also got some whisks, a spatula, and the ice cream scooper...always important :) Thank you to everyone that purchased and thank you to Jen for being our consultant. I heart you pampered chef. With all of these new toys, you will all have have to come and visit, we will cook you a pampered dinner!!
