Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a unique collaboration connecting people to a local farm and farmer. When you become a CSA member, you agree to support the costs of running the farm in exchange for a share of the harvest. By contributing a membership fee in advance, you become a partner with the farmer in sharing some of the risk as well as the bounty of agricultural production. (taken from the Denison website)

This is something that Dan and I have wanted to do since last year for a couple of different reasons.....
1. Let's face it....we eat LOTS of vegetables
2. The local fam is becomng extinct
3. We don't like pesticides
4. We like knowing where our food is coming from
When we started looking last year, we quickly learned how popular this is becoming. All of the farms were out of shares. We decided to look for a full family share and split it with Kate and Jr. So I started looking early this year. I searched on this site and started comparing. For anyone that is interested in C.S.A., this website is awesome! Anyways, I found a bunch that I liked and Kate picked her top 3. From her top 3, we decided to go with Denison Farms for a couple of reasons...
1. Organic2. Pick up is in Clifton Park
3. They have a fruit share
They also have an egg share, but we didn't want that. I can't wait for it to start up and to get our first box! Click here to see what they have had in the past.
