So I decided to tackle what I thought was going to be a HUGE project......painting the front window. The wood frame was so dark and I thought that painting the window white would brighten up the room and make it seem bigger. Here are some before pictures:

I started taping the window...this took forever! At that point, I started asking myself, "what did I get myself into." Well it wasn't that bad. I did one coat of primer and 2 coats of white paint. It took 11 hours all together....and totally worth it. It did take a long time, but it wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Here are the work in progress pictures:

After day 3, everything was drying nice and falling into place. Ta-Da!!! The finished product:

Now that I have done the window, I am ready for the rest of the trim and doors in the house. I WILL have this house done...one door at a time! I am going to start with the kitchen/living room/hallway area. I am going to do all the trim and doors. The house will look so different when I am done, I am so excited!
